American Girl Up To 50% Off Sale
American Girl is having an up to 50% off in store only sale through December 31. It includes the per-wrapped Historical pajamas, pre wrapped mini dolls, pre wrapped pets, pre wrapped hair care set (which has been sold out in the DC store since late November), Limited Edition BeForever Sets, Grace items, Joyful Jewels Holiday Outfit and the store exclusive stockings and ornaments.
Monster High Vinyl Pets
Mattel's Monster High franchise has released another set of vinyl figures only instead of the students of Monster High these figures are of their pets. The four currently available pets, Watzit, Crescent, Count Fabulous and Sir Hoots A Lot are packaged in smaller versions of the main character's boxes. Each box has their character's signature color trimming the box and they retail for half the cost of the character vinyls. 
Crescent seems to be short packed in the case or at least at my local store.

Monster High Vinyl Deuce
Mattel recently released the newest wave of its Monster High Vinyl figures. This new wave included Rochelle, Venus, Abbey and Deuce. While doing some last minute holiday shopping with my favorite sibling we happened upon a few of these (and several of the vinyl pets, but we will save that for another post). I picked up a Deuce and then noticed another box trimmed in green, another Deuce. Of course I had to look at both to see which one I liked the best, and I noticed that each one had different sunglasses on. One has red sunglasses with clear "lens" while the other had more tinted "lens".

American Girl has started their twelve days of deals, with a new deal each day for the next twelve days. Today's deal is the Warm Winter Outfit for Dolls for $21, Warm Winter Accessories $17 and Snowy Earmuffs $7.

Weekend Store Sightings November 28, 2015
First I would like to say to all of those who celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you had a wonderful day. 
Our Generation Holiday Hope doll
The Friday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, marks the official start of the holiday shopping season. Most stores offer big discounts on toys and electronics starting on Friday, and the sales usually run all weekend. I did a little shopping and browsing over the weekend and wanted to share some of the things I saw that were new to me. If you saw any new or interesting things in the stores over the weekend please share those with us as well.
I mainly went into Target because they had Our Generation brand merchandise for BOGO (Buy One Get One) 50% off, below are some items that I saw.

American Girl is currently offering 20% off all regular priced items now through December 12, 2015 with the code GIFT20. I can't really recall a time when they have offered a percentage off of items of your choosing. This does seem to include dolls as well.
They have also added several items to the sale section including Grace's Welcome Gifts, which state they are on sale through November 30, 2015.

Weekend Store Sightings November 15
With the shopping season upon us I seem to find myself in stores and traveling more often. While this might not always be good for my wallet it is good for spotting new (or new to me) items .
I was at a Target over the weekend and was amazed at all the new Our Generation things that were out.

Weekend Store Review
All the stores seem to be in full holiday mode, with countdown to Christmas signs out front, decorations, and holiday toy books. Mattel removes Monster High from Transfer Page
Yesterday I was browsing Mattel's website and decided to check and see if Finnegan Wake was still available on the shop site. When the transfer screen came up I noticed that there were no representatives from Monster High or Ever After High present like there had previously been. There was however a representative for American Girl, Julie who had not been present before.

Create Your Own Wilde Doll
I received an email earlier in the week from Wilde Imagination (one of Robert Tonner's divisions) about the new create a doll.
According to the email you can purchase a blank body and customize a resin Ellowyne or Evangeline doll. The resin bodies cost $250 for a blank Ellowyne or $295 for a blank Evangeline, each blank doll comes with a set of brown eyes and a set of blue eyes.
I wonder if they will eventually do this with the vinyl bodies as well.
