Mattel removes Monster High from Transfer Page
Yesterday I was browsing Mattel's website and decided to check and see if Finnegan Wake was still available on the shop site. When the transfer screen came up I noticed that there were no representatives from Monster High or Ever After High present like there had previously been. There was however a representative for American Girl, Julie who had not been present before.

Create Your Own Wilde Doll
I received an email earlier in the week from Wilde Imagination (one of Robert Tonner's divisions) about the new create a doll.
According to the email you can purchase a blank body and customize a resin Ellowyne or Evangeline doll. The resin bodies cost $250 for a blank Ellowyne or $295 for a blank Evangeline, each blank doll comes with a set of brown eyes and a set of blue eyes.
I wonder if they will eventually do this with the vinyl bodies as well.

Possible Doll Line For Upcoming Disney Movie
In a press release today Disney announced that they will be releasing a new movie next November titled Moana. The title character is a determined teenage girl, (likely) from Hawaii who sets out on an adventure. I think it would be very safe to say that we will see lots of toys including dolls for this upcoming movie.
You can read more about the movie at https://gma.yahoo.com/meet-moana-newest-disney-princess-161229376--abc-news-celebrities.html#.

Doll Pet Size Comparison Our Generation vs. My Life As
There are all sorts of pet options available for dolls in the 18 inch size family. I wanted to review two of the more well known brands today Our Generation and My Life As. The Our Generation brand is exclusive to Target and the My Life As brand is exclusive to Wal-Mart. The Our Generation pup retails for around $3 and the My Life As pup sells for $5. Both have stuffed bodies that are not posable and are made well for their price. The OG dog has features that are stitched while the MLA dog has plastic "button" features. Both dogs have a tag, a pink og tag on the OG dog and a shiny, bone shaped tag on the MLA. The biggest difference is size, the OG dog is significantly smaller than the MLA dog. When compared to an American Girl doll the OG dog looks like a very small puppy, while the MLA dog resembles a smaller size dog. I enjoy having both of these pups in my collection and am glad that there is a size difference and variety between the lines.

Super Hero Girls
With the success of Monster High and Ever After High, Mattel has decided to introduce a new line Super Hero High. The students are female characters from the DC Comic universe, including Wonder Woman, Batgirl and Harley Quinn. The line will include twelve inch tall dolls and six inch tall articulated action figures, and like Monster High, will be promoted through webisodes and books.
You can read the USA Today article and see pictures of the upcoming dolls here.
What do you think of the upcoming line?
